Redcliffe Builders: Bringing the Trading Quarters of the City Alive

Redcliffe is one of Bristol’s most historic trading quarters. Set in the heart of the city centre, it has been an eyesore of derelict industrial buildings for far too long. Thankfully times are changing. The area that was derelict for 25 years will be transformed by Redcliffe builders into a new neighbourhood. They’ll be adding restaurants, hotels, offices, food courts and apartments. The trading quarters take their name from the red sandstone cliffs that are found to the South of the floating harbour.

Bristol has been enjoying large amounts of rejuvenation in the last decade. The Harbourside development is another area that has been successfully transformed. Planning permission for the new project was received in November 2016, after a the successful land acquisition of 2014. The exciting project will bring life back into an area that has been seriously neglected, creating short and long term job prospects for locals.
