Mr S approached Bristol Builders Network (BBN) with the request for our help to transform his existing bathroom into a wet room. The client had always dreamed of having a wet room in his home, due to having a restricted mobility. By making this change to the initial space, the client’s bathroom was made much more accessible.
Wet rooms are a great use for a small bathroom as well as being a stylish and on-trend feature. BBN made sure all the essential installations were made into the clients’ home to build the most comfortable wet room. These were processes such as professional drainage and waterproofing, as well as installing grab rails. We provided Mr S with all the services required to build the bathroom he had long awaited, such as tilers and interior designers.
Wet rooms are trend-setting and provide much-needed safety in the home. Not just for those with limited mobility, a wet room is a far safer place than a conventional bathroom with a traditional tub.
Wet Room Price
Our price for a 2m x 3m installation, with the client supplying tiles, shower and shower accessories is £4600 + VAT. However, the price for this client was slightly increased. This was due to the clients’ installation of the grab rails and other equipment to make his bathroom more accessible.
Wet rooms from BBN can be built to your specific needs and budget. In this case, the client kept down the cost by buying his own tiles, shower, and accessories. By doing so, he kept within his budget as well as having the final decision on the finishing touches.
