The price BBN charges for the conversion of an existing basement is between £750 to £1400 per square meter. This client’s conversion was 18m2 and priced at £800 per square meter, meaning it cost the client £14,400. However, this conversion would have added significant value to the existing property.
If a basement conversion included having the floor level lowered, underpinning an existing or digging a new basement space and underpinning would be a lot more expensive per square meter.
